John https://ronjohn.org/Where-do-we-go-from-here Where do we go from here? There is a fear of the unkown but also an alluring beauty to be found in cycle of life, no one knows what comes after it. This project is inspired by the process of ageing and the accumulation that happens throught ones lifespan, through preserved memories and the collection of personal artefacts. I proceeded then to archive such ageing spaces as i felt it is how one is remembered but also how people leave their&nbsp; legacy behind. Like a quick blur of visual sequences re-playing in a loop reminiscent of your entire life flashing before your eyes, these are a series of haunting images shot across various homes across India. Each image focuses on specific dialogues that portray a nexus of temporality, abandoment, the mystery surrounding death, the lonliness that comes from the isolated experience and then connecting with divinity.
